Summary
Carter is a small town in the Appalachians. Kat starts a new job at a mysterious company, and is brought into the fold faster than anyone planned once headless bodies show up in the woods. Things become more complicated when the guy she hooked up with turns out to work at the same company.
Background
The world has too few werewolf stories. Vampires and zombies have definitely had their time in the spotlight, but beyond American Werewolf in London, there’s a sad shortage of great werewolves.
So I wrote this spec script, imagining a Buffy-esque TV show about a company that hunts cryptids. The first season would be about werewolves, and our main character is an outsider just joining up with them as their new receptionist.
